The
Whitepaper
FARKAT is a meme coin with one mechanic: every transfer pays a 1% tax, and that tax comes back to holders as $NEARKAT. This document explains how that works, what it costs you, and what it does not do.
Near has a coin. Far should too.
NEARKAT is a meerkat that is near. It has a 3% transfer tax, roughly 6,800 holders, and it has paid out more than $1.09 million in reflections across more than two hundred thousand individual payouts. It works.
FARKAT is its opposite. Not near. Not close. Definitely far.
That could have been the entire joke — a backwards logo and a poster set. Instead the joke is load-bearing, because of one decision: FARKAT is paired against NEARKAT.
You hold the far one. You get paid in the near one.
StonkFun pays reflections in whatever asset a token is quoted against. Most tokens quote against SOL, so their holders earn SOL. FARKAT quotes against NEARKAT, so FARKAT holders earn NEARKAT. The meme and the tokenomics are the same object.
Distance is the instrument
FARKAT's distance from NEARKAT is not a metaphor we check occasionally. It is a number, computed continuously, and it drives everything on the site:
distance = 40,075 km × (1 − FARKAT market cap ÷ NEARKAT market cap)
At launch FARKAT is one full lap of the Earth away. As it closes the gap the meerkat on the horizon walks toward you. At parity — the two market caps equal — the readout prints zero, and the only line that matters:
The far has become the near.
Every burn in section 5 fires at a distance milestone. The whole supply program is indexed to this one number, which means it is checkable by anyone, at any time, without trusting us.
1% in, NEARKAT out
FARKAT launches on StonkFun as a Token-2022 reward launch. A 1% transfer fee is written into the mint itself at creation. Every transfer pays it. The withheld tax accumulates in the mint, and StonkFun's controller harvests and distributes it to holders pro-rata, in NEARKAT.
No staking. No claiming. No contract to approve. No wallet connection anywhere on this site, ever — a meme site that asks for a signature is a drainer, and we will never ask for one.
The four things most reflection tokens don't tell you
You need to hold about $20. Below StonkFun's minimum you are skipped
when a distribution runs — and you still pay the tax.
Payouts batch, they don't stream. Distributions run on StonkFun's
schedule, not ours. Early on, with thin volume, expect waits.
StonkFun keeps 2.5% of the reward pool for running the distribution.
Reflections are the tax minus their cut.
The tax is permanent by policy, not by code. The fee-config authority is
a LaunchLab program address, not a renounced one. We cannot change it. We also cannot
truthfully call it immutable, so we don't.
What the mechanic produces is arithmetic, not a forecast. Reflection yield is turnover × tax, and does not depend on market cap at all:
| If daily volume runs at… | …the mechanic pays roughly |
|---|---|
| 1.25% of market cap (a large, mature token) | 4.4% a year |
| 3.33% of market cap (NEARKAT's rate at time of writing) | 11.9% a year |
| 15% of market cap (an actively traded token) | 53.4% a year |
Read that table carefully. It is what the tax mathematically produces at a given trading volume — nothing more. It is not a projection, not a promise, and not a yield product. Volume is unpredictable and could be near zero. Price movement will dwarf any of these numbers in either direction, and the token can go to zero regardless of what the mechanic pays.
Supply, the dev buy, and the hard part
One billion FARKAT, six decimals, mint and freeze authority revoked at creation. 793.1 million sit on the bonding curve; the rest is reserved for the liquidity pool at migration. The curve graduates to a Raydium pool at a $40,000 market cap.
At launch we buy 5% of supply — 50 million FARKAT — in the same atomic transaction that creates the token. There is no free allocation on StonkFun. Nobody gets tokens they did not buy at curve price, including us.
On the curve, that 5% costs about 1.7% of the total raise to graduation. Public demand has to supply the other 98.3%.
Graduation is the hard part, not the launch
Launching is trivial and cheap. Getting to graduation needs a $40,000 market cap built almost entirely by genuine public demand, and most tokens on every launchpad never get there. A small dev buy is good for you — it means a wide float and a team that cannot dump much — but it explicitly does not make graduation easier. We are carrying almost none of the raise. If this fails, that is the most likely place it fails.
There is also a real cost to the NEARKAT pair that we would rather state than have you discover. Because NEARKAT charges its own 3% and FARKAT charges 1%, a buy funded in NEARKAT pays both — and so does the sell. The round trip is about 8%.
That is the price of the joke being load-bearing. We chose 1% rather than 3% specifically to keep that number as low as the design allows; at 3% it would have been roughly 12%.
Half the dev bag, burned on the way home
Of the 50 million FARKAT bought at launch, 25 million — 2.5% of total supply — is a burn reserve, held in a dedicated wallet whose address is published. It is burned progressively as FARKAT closes the distance, in eight rungs that get larger as the gap narrows.
Each rung requires both the distance milestone and a market-cap floor. That second condition exists because distance is a ratio: without it, a collapse in NEARKAT's price would trigger our burns while FARKAT stood still. Burns should be earned by FARKAT rising, not by NEARKAT falling.
| Distance | Market cap floor | Burn | % of supply | Cumulative |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 35,000 km | $1M | 1.0M | 0.10% | 0.10% |
| 30,000 km | $2M | 1.5M | 0.15% | 0.25% |
| 25,000 km | $3M | 2.0M | 0.20% | 0.45% |
| 20,000 km | $4M | 2.5M | 0.25% | 0.70% |
| 15,000 km | $5M | 3.0M | 0.30% | 1.00% |
| 10,000 km | $6.5M | 4.0M | 0.40% | 1.40% |
| 5,000 km | $8M | 5.0M | 0.50% | 1.90% |
| Parity — 0 km | $10M | 6.0M | 0.60% | 2.50% |
The last and largest burn fires at parity. The supply program finishes at exactly the moment the premise does.
Every burn is an on-chain transaction against a published address. You do not have to take our word for any of this — you can check it, and the site and the Telegram bot will both show which rungs have fired.
There is a third source of burning we do not control and do not need to: once FARKAT enters StonkFun's top ten by market cap, the platform's own flywheel starts buying and burning FARKAT every few minutes, indefinitely. That threshold sits between rungs three and four.
The near one eats the far one's supply
Separately from the transfer tax, StonkFun pays the token's creator a share of trading fees. It keeps paying after graduation. Because FARKAT is quoted against NEARKAT, those fees accrue in NEARKAT — the same asset holders receive.
That revenue is committed in two parts:
25% of creator fees
Buy back and burn
NEARKAT fees buy FARKAT on the open market, and that FARKAT is burned. Visible as real buy pressure in the transmissions feed, on top of the ladder in section 5.
75% of creator fees
The entire treasury
Listings, chart verification, aggregator submissions, promotion. There is no team allocation and no separate war chest — this is the whole operating budget.
The rule that protects it
The 25% is never raided
Marketing is capped at the treasury share. If visibility spending could eat the buyback allocation, the burn commitment quietly dies — so it can't.
After the full burn ladder completes, the team holds 2.5% of supply and nothing else. That is the entire allocation. No vesting cliff to fear, no unlock calendar, no treasury bag waiting above the market.
The uncomfortable part
This is a meme coin. It does not do anything and it is not trying to. There is no product, no roadmap, no partnerships page, no utility we are going to announce later. The joke and the mechanic are the whole thing.
The reflections are not ours to run. StonkFun's controller holds the authority to harvest and distribute the withheld tax. We depend on them. We cannot promise a schedule we do not control, and we will not pretend otherwise when payouts are slow.
Pairing to NEARKAT is a bet on NEARKAT. If NEARKAT dies, FARKAT's quote asset dies with it. Holding FARKAT means holding NEARKAT exposure whether you wanted it or not. Both can go to zero.
There is no presale and no allocation round. We will never take your funds in exchange for tokens. Anyone offering you a FARKAT allocation is stealing from you. Before launch there is no contract address at all — anyone posting one is lying.
Nothing here is financial advice, nothing here is a promise of returns, and the burn ladder is a supply commitment, not a statement about price. Burning tokens does not make a token go up. Assume you could lose everything you put in, because you could.
Not near. Not close. Definitely far.
Where to check everything
Every number in this document is derived from public, keyless endpoints — StonkFun's own token API and Jupiter's trade feed. The site recomputes them live. Nothing here requires trusting a figure we typed by hand.
